About

The Story

Claire Driscoll’s journey in film started with writing, producing, and costume designing for films while at Seton Hall University, where she majored in film studies with a concentration in screenwriting.

She began working on large-scale union sets in January 2024 as a production assistant on Marvel’s Daredevil. In just seven months, she was offered the opportunity to travel internationally for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

After returning to New York, she began working on indie projects as an assistant costume designer while also working on pre-production of her first feature.

Why Both?

For both costumes and writing, you must think about character work, motive, setting—both departments utilize the same muscles in the brain. I learned to sew at age five for the 4-H club, and began writing competitions around the same age. I wasn’t willing to give up either passion.
